SnapChat Users reporting AI BOT feature is Freak
Several Snapchat users were alarmed when their My AI chatbot began posting stories and disregarding messages.
Snapchat's ChatGPT-powered bot, which goes by "My AI," might threaten sentience.
Several Snap users pointed out that the chatbot posted a story on its own, featuring two blocks of color separated by a diagonal line in the upper third.
Some users also reported a common issue: confronting My AI about the strange post, only to get ignored or eventually receive vague replies like "sorry, I encountered a technical issue 😳" or "sorry, I don't understand that yet! 😳"

On Twitter, Snapchat's support page responded to complaints with the message:
We understand the urgency of your concern and will look into it further.
Close to midnight, @snapchatsupport started replying to complaints with a new line, writing, "My AI experienced a temporary outage that's now resolved."

In a chat conversation, My AI can answer a burning trivia question, offer advice on the perfect gift for your BFF's birthday, help plan a hiking trip for a long weekend, or suggest what to make for dinner.

We're constantly working to improve and evolve My AI, but it's possible My AI's responses may include biased, incorrect, harmful, or misleading content. Because My AI is an evolving feature, you should always independently check answers provided by My AI before relying on any advice, and you should not share confidential or sensitive information.
Conclusion
Although artificial intelligence systems have advanced capabilities, they are not infallible. They are still software with bugs, flaws, and limitations, so it is not advisable to depend on them for important tasks.
