Among the most popular messaging apps around the world, WhatsApp is undoubtedly the most widely used. WhatsApp is testing some new features focused on audio after providing multi-device support for beta testers earlier this year.
According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp is now working on new features for voice notes on WhatsApp for Android and iOS after publishing the news about global listening to voice messages. There are several new features being created by the team for WhatsApp, particularly improvements for voice messages.
As part of the latest feature, users will be able to pause a voice recording and continue from the same point again after adjusting the playback speed.
This feature allows you to pause a voice recording midway on WhatsApp. When you pause the app, it will stop recording your voice and be in paused mode.
You will see three buttons at the bottom of the recording screen, including a button for restarting recording. By tapping this button you can pick up right where you left off recording your message. You can also delete the entire recording or send it to a recipient using the other two buttons. This feature is very useful because it won’t force you to stop and record a new one.
However, this feature is in the testing mode and WhatsApp will roll out it soon publicly.
