Testing of this feature is also going on in Brazil and Japan along with India. The company said that with the facility of voice messages in DM, it will be easy for users to communicate.
Manish Maheshwari, Managing Director, Twitter India, said, "We will get a lot of excited new experience about testing voice message feature in DM in India." They will be able to hear each other's voice and express their feelings too. Each voice message in this feature will be 140 seconds. This will make people chat faster.
How to use voice message feature
- The user must first go to the direct message.
- Now tap the new voice recording icon to send a voice message.
- Be aware that voice recording will not take place after 140 seconds.
- Before sending the voice message, you will also get the option to listen to it.
- You can also delete the voice message if you do not like it.
