Facebook Announced Transfer Photos And Videos To Google Photos Tool Globally
Facebook is one of the biggest social media platforms, and lots of people have shared their photos and videos daily.
Now, Facebook has announced a new Google photos transfer tool globally. Firstly announced for the US and Canada, but now it is launched globally and available for all.
The data transfer tool allows you to create copies of all your photos and videos on your Facebook account and transfer them to linked Google photos. This tool is a part of the Data Transfer Project.
The Data Transfer Project is a data-sharing initiative launched in 2018 to help people move their data between various online services. It is an agreement between Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and Twitter to make it easy to transfer information between services.
Alexandru Voica, tech communications manager at Facebook, posted on Twitter about the "100 percent rollout of photo and video transfer tool".

How to use it?
You can transfer your Facebook photos and videos in 5 easy steps:- Go to 'Your Facebook Information' in your Facebook Settings, and check your privacy settings, review your activity log, and use Facebook's Access. Your information and Download Your Information tools.
- Select ' Transfer a copy of your photos or videos' and click 'view' to begin transferring your photos and videos.
- Enter your Facebook password to verify your identity.
- Choose a destination, Google photos from the drop-down
- Select 'Confirm Transfer' and you will see a notification on Facebook and via email once the transfer is complete.
