Nikon Z6 And Z7 Camera - Adding Eye Detection AF
Nikon Announced in January that it was working on the firmware that would add new features to the Z7 and Z6 full-frame mirrorless camera including eye detection.
Now it's ready to launch on 16th May 2016.
According to Nikon Asia uploaded a video on its YouTube channel with the message,
"Look out for the Nikon Z7 and Z6’s new firmware, to be released on May 16. This delivers the Eye-Detection AF, as well as advancing several functions. These exciting upgrades are around the corner, so stay tuned!"
It would be also including new firmware, Eye AF, better autofocus performance in low light condition and ability to use CFexpress cards.
According to TechRadar,
Nikon also promised that the full-frame mirrorless camera will get support for Raw video output that will work with Atomos Ninja V monitor recorder using the ProRes Raw codec.
