WhatsApp is Going To Show Ads In Status Stories
After Facebook, now WhatsApp is starting to showing Ads to their users.
WhatsApp has around 1.5 billion users globally. The status feature of WhatsApp has launched last year. The feature allows users to share text, photos, videos and GIF for 24 hrs.
Whatsapp Vice President Chris Daniels confirmed,
"We are going to be putting ads in Status". That is going to be primary monetizaion mode for the company as well as an opportunity for businesses to reach people on WhatsApp.
Facebook move to monetize WhatsApp after company co-founders, Brian Acton left Facebook in 2017. Brian Acton, told Forbes recently that Zuckerberg was in a rush to make money from the messaging service and undermine elements of its encryption technology. "Targeted advertising is what makes me unhappy," Acton said.
Like another apps WhatsApp is also enter in Ads field. Now user's will see Annoying Ads while seeing at your friends Status.
