Vivo V5 Plus Reportedly Goes Up for Pre-Orders in India at Rs. 27,980
Recently Chinese smartphone maker Vivo introduced its selfie-focused V5 Plus smartphone in China. The phone is slated for its India debut on January 23, but it is apparently presented for pre-orders according to Mahesh Telecom as written on their Twitter feed. The phone can be purchased at Rs 27,980.
As reported by established Mumbai-based offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom, interested customers can book the Vivo V5 Plus offline ahead of its official launch. As a complimentary gift, users will apparently also get a VR box along with the smartphone at Rs. 27,980.The Vivo V5 Plus was formally confirmed on Thursday by the company, along with a toned-down variant called V5 Lite.
Vivo V5 Plus is powered by 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It Fun touches OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be powered by a 3160 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery with fast charging support. It has 1.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can expandable to 128GB via Micro Sd card.
Vivo’s new smartphone is all about selfies, and the company state it can take impressive selfie photographs with a Bokeh effect. This is permitted by the dual camera setup at the front (20-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors). The 20-megapixel front camera uses Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens system, while the 8-megapixel shooter is used for collecting the depth of field, which is well known as the Bokeh effect. The smartphone packs a 16-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash.
It has a fingerprint scanner in front side same like Vivo V5. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, GLONASS, A-GPS, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, Accelerometer, Wi-Fi hotspot, Gyro Sensor, and Geomagnetic Sensor. The device measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55 mm and weighs 156g.
