Passive Wi-Fi' System Said to Use 10,000 Times Less Power Than Traditional Wi-Fi
The passive Wi-Fi network have just solved Wi-Fi power consumption problems once and for all and as a group from the universities engineering department have also created a Wi-Fi support system that works according to them which uses 10000 times less power than traditional Wi-Fi and its name has been kept as passive Wi-Fi. It is compatible with current Smartphones and routers.
According to a video describing passive Wi-Fi in which there is a traditional Wi-Fi radios consumer lot of power mainly because of the analog radio frequency. In order to reduce power consumption which is taken by a Wi-Fi trade used in a smartphone and digital devices.
The passive Wi-Fi only uses the digital based banned by the analog radio frequency band is delegated to a single plug in a device. The plug 10 devices are used to send the radio frequency signal to the passive Wi-Fi devices which generate Wi-Fi packet and send it to the existing device including Smartphones and routers and the team has managed to achieve to download up to 11 MBPS speed which falls in line with most download speed.
The team also says that this Technologies will allow for new kinds of Communications that was not possible early due to the power requirement of current Wi-Fi systems.
