General Mobile GM5 Android One Smartphone With Android 7.0 Nougat Launched
General Mobile has declared GM 5, its newest budget 4G smartphone in the ‘Android One’ lineup in partnership with Google. It has almost similar specifications as the General Mobile 4G that was announced last year that includes 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Snapdragon 410 SoC. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
The price of the GM5 is not planned; though General Mobile has established that the smartphone will go on sale this month itself. The company has listed the smartphone's detailed specifications on its site before it gets presented.
As for the requirements, the General Mobile GM5 powered by a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 defense. It has a 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone uses 16GB of built-in storage space as well new 4g smartphone 2017-2018.
The General Mobile GM5 sports metal edges, and a finished back outline. The camera sits on the inside, and the power catches and volume are kept on the privilege. There are dual speakers on every side of the USB port at the base, and the 3.5mm sound jack is kept on the top edge.
It has the 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, autofocus, and 4x digital zoom. The General Mobile GM5 allows a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. A 2500mAh battery keeps the lights on, and the smartphone is presented in Space Gray, Golden, and Black color options, will be available with Single and Dual SIM versions in November.
Connectivity options contain Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio, and Wi-Fi Direct. The General Mobile GM5 measures at140.5x69.75x9.3mm and weighs 160 grams.
General Mobile has mentioned that the smartphone will only be presented in 20 markets ie. Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bosnia, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Ghana, Kenya, Iraq, Luxembourg, Moldova, Pakistan, Netherlands, Serbia, Turkey, Tunisia, and Uzbekistan. It will support all the countries' local languages.
