Moto G4 Play Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and More
Lenovo-owned Motorola has introduced its Moto G4 Play in India. The company has priced the device at Rs 8,999 and is presented exclusively on Amazon. At this price point, the smartphone will face a strong competition with the newly introduced Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime priced at Rs 8,999 and the Coolpad Mega 2.5D which comes at Rs 6,999.
The phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it has 2 GB of RAM. This means the processor has Quad cores in the CPU and 2 GB of RAM confirms the phone runs easily with multiple applications open concurrently. The Motorola Moto G4 Play also packs in a graphics processor, and 16 GB of internal storage which can be extended to 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone is 8.95-mm thin , and tips the scale at 137 grams.
The Motorola Moto G4 Play runs Android 6.0.1 and is run by a 2800mAh nonremovable battery. It measures 144.40 x 72.00 x 9.90 and weighs 137.00 grams.
The Motorola Moto G4 Play is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that receives a Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi, FM, Bluetooth, 4G. Sensors on the phone include the Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
In July Moto G4 Play was spotted on Zauba with device name Moto XT 1607 being introduced from the US. The value per unit was Rs 6,804, according to the data on the website. However, the final price of the Moto G4 Play has not yet been confirmed.
The Moto G4 Play launch is remarkable because Motorola has also established the Moto E 3rd gen will be coming to India on September 19 most likely. Motorola has also promised the new Moto Z series will be introducing here as well, and it could take place soon.
