Moto E3 Power SmartphoneWith 3500mAh Battery Goes on Sale
In July Motorola revealed the Moto E3 smartphone revealing a few specifications, a price tag of GBP 99, and early September accessibility in the UK. Now, a variant called the Moto E3 Power has gone on sale by a third-party retail site in Hong Kong - with no official declaration for it yet. As the name advises, the smartphone comes with a better battery, and it also bears a few upgrades to other specifications and sells at a price tag of HKD 1,098 (roughly Rs. 9,500).
The E3 Power is same to the vanilla E3 in some respects but pretty different in others. The most remarkable change is that the Power boasts a 3,500 mAh battery, compared to its lesser sibling's 2,800 mAh cell. Now the smartphone is on sale in Hong Kong through third-party retailers. Excepting the battery, other specifications of the smartphone are similar to the Moto E3 that was showed last month.
The Moto E3 Power comes out into the markets with a 5 inched IPS screen. The device has a 64-bit 1GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core SoC. It comes out with 2 GB of RAM, along with 16 GB of storage space. Users who need more storage space can increase it with the help of a Micro SD card. The storage space can be extended up to another 128 GB.
The Moto E3 Power comes with an 8-Megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-Megapixel front camera. The device will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is supported by a 3,500mAh battery. The connectivity options include the standard Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth. In contrast, the Moto E3 is powered by a 2800mAh battery.
The Moto E3 Power comes in Black color and is estimated in Hong Kong at HK$ 1,098 (US$ 141 / Rs. 9493 approx.).
Motorola’s Moto E disturbed the budget Android market years ago with class leading specifications but ever since the market dynamics have taken a pattern shift. With the entry of players like Lenovo (!),Xiaomi and Honor it is proving only more difficult for Motorola to top the sales chart, somewhat that the Moto E once did.
