OnePlus 3 Getting OxygenOS 3.2.1 Update Rollout.
OnePlus is coming with brand new OxygenOS 3.2.1 update for the OnePlus 3 just days after it had launched the previous 3.2.0 upgrade. The company had stopped the latter while considering reports of users facing matters while trying to install the firmware. But, soon after the rollout, some users started complaining about facing matters while upgrading their handsets.
The Chinese smartphone was fast to address the complaints and temporarily stopped the update. Now, it seems like the company has fixed the issue. But, the company instead of continuing with the Oxygen OS 3.2.0 rollout is now seeding OS version 3.2.1.
It appears OnePlus is done fixing at all went wrong with the previous update for the OnePlus 3. In a forum post, OnePlus believed that it’s decided to jump right ahead to version 3.2.1 of OxygenOS as an alternative of resuming 3.2.0 from where it left off. It’s calling the latest upgrade an incremental rollout, which means it’ll be accessible in phases gradually.
OxygenOS 3.2.1 contains some further enhancements for those who’ve already succeeded to successfully install 3.2.0 on their handset. For the rest, they’ll be receiving everything which was promised in the latter. These contain key changes like a new sRGB mode to tune the phone’s screen, allowing users adjust the colors of the display. In addition, the update includes an improved RAM management and GPS performance.
The changelog forwarded by the company on its forum page indicate two additional fixes while the rest of the features stay the same as seen in OS 3.2.0. The Oxygen OS 3.2.1 now also comes with some fixes dealing with the notifications issues. OnePlus has also addressed the SIM acknowledgement issue as well.
