Did You Know? 25 Years Ago The World's First Website Was Launched Today
The first website was launched by CERN (European Organization For Nuclear Research) in 1989. Today its 25th Anniversary.
Berners-Lee launched the world first website. The website described the basic features of the web; how to access other people's documents and how to set up your own server. The NeXT machine - the original web server - is still at CERN.
