devices from these mobile handset manufacturing giants. We have considered flagship
mobiles: Samsung
Galaxy S5 from Samsung, HTC One M8 from HTC, Sony Xperia Z2 from Sony and LG G3
from LG for this comparison. We’ve considered these handsets as these
manufacturers enjoy almost same brand value and trust. We shall compare these
Mobiles on various parameters listed below.
Display:
If we
consider screen size then LG G3 tops this with its gigantic 5.5 inches IPS LCD
display followed by Sony Xperia Z2 which is 5.2 inches. For screen clarity and
resolution LG G3 comes with 534 ppi followed by HTC One M8. Considering the
screen type Samsung Galaxy S5 has the best screen type. It comes with Super
AMOLED screen which offers sharpness and crispness to images and works fabulous
with different viewing angles.
Processor:
Samsung
Galaxy S5 poses two quad core processors (1.9 GHz Quad Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core
Processor) supported by Adonis Prime 2 which makes it extremely fast, this is
followed by LG G3 Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.26
GHz designed to offer lag free or shutter free performance. Technically All the
four come with great processing speed where HTC One M8 comes with Qualcomm
Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3 GHz and Sony Xperia Z2 with extremely powerful Qualcomm
MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3 GHz.
Photo and Video:
HTC
added revolutionary ultrapixel technology to imaging experience on HTC One M8. This
phone comes with 4 ultrapixels primary camera and 5 MP secondary camera. This device
is designed to click better lit images, improvement of blurry images and great
focus. For video it is 1080 px at 60fps. Sony Xperia Z2 sports a 20.7 MP
primary camera with LED Flash and 2.2 MP front camera, this phone is water
resistant so you need not stop clicking. This is followed by Samsung Galaxy S5
that comes with 16 MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. Video recording
2160 px at 30 fps. This phone is also water resistant for one should not worry
while clicking pictures near water body. Last one here is LG G3 which comes
with 13 MP primary camera and 2.1 MP secondary camera. This is slightly lower
than the other league phones for this comparison.
Other Features:
If look at unique features offered by these phones then Samsung wins our heart.
This is designed to delight fitness freaks with its heart rate sensor. This is
connected to an app that stores the data and shows it on graph. This phone is
dust proof and water resistant, offers wireless charging, recently upgraded to
4G LTE. Offers amazing image stabilization and image merge feature. Continuous
shots are shutter free. HTC One M8 comes with great body about 90% is metal, so
does not give a feeling of cheap plastic body. BoomSound speakers are now
moved to the front. But the freshness in HTC One M8 is due to the 4 ultrapixel
camera. Sony Xperia Z2 offers great camera features along with 20 MP primary
camera, phone is dust proof and water resistant. It comes with Scratch-Resistant
Glass, Triluminos Display, X Reality Engine and Adreno 330 GPU. LG G3 offers not too many improved features
but two worthy to talk about are enhanced sound quality with Dolby mobile sound
enhancement and stunning display.
These devices have hit market with some or the other great
feature. Now, consumers have to choose what works best for them. They all are
powerful phones bringing improvements from their predecessors.
