India, Bangalore based Laxmi Access Communication System launched four product categories of tablets. The categories are named as Pepper, Tamarind, Mirchi and Paprika. These tablets would be available in 3 different sizes; 7, 8 and 10 inches. All the models are built on Android Platform and will be in price range of Rs. 6,250 to Rs. 32,000.

Features of the all the models are yet not disclosed but Pepper, which is priced at 6,250 is built on Android 2.2 and has a great 800 Mhz processor.
- It has 4 GB of inbuilt memory which would be expandable to 16 GB.
- Each tablet will have a external keyboard and USB port connectivity option and will also support 3G dongles for connectivity.
The company expect to sell about 3-4 lac tablets over the next 12-14 months through its branded showroom "easyEz".
The company has tied up with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Citibank, Standard Chartered for thier credit card users to buy the tablet on an EMI option which is expected to increase its sale.
The company is offering also upgrade warranty which means on launch of new product, the user of Magnum Tablet can upgrade to the newly launched one by paying the difference between the tablet on use and the new tablet.
